ACT LIKE A LEADER, THINNK LIKE A LEADER

by HERMINIA IBARRA

“Have you had it with navel-gazing? In this terrific book Herminia Ibarra offers the antidote. She reframes the leader’s quest as a process of looking outward rather than inward and includes suggestions for expanding your leadership opportunities.” DANIEL H PINK

I read this book cover to cover one Sunday. Honestly, one of the most refreshing reads I’ve discovered this year.

Happily, I have sent copies to clients, and they loved it too.

If you think it’s time to switch up your delivery in a leadership role, then this is well worth it - especially if, like me, you think playfulness is often overlooked in our world of work,

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED READ. Enjoy!

WELCOME TO WREXHAM

This incredible ‘Sport docuseries’, follows Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney as they run the third-oldest professional football team in the world, Wrexham AFC.

It promises to, once again, show the good fortunes of the club and the town thanks to investment, confidence, and incredible storytelling.

I lived in Wrexham for 3 years as a teenager and was a frequent visitor to ‘The Turf’, conveniently located next door to Yale VI Form College. If the prior series is anything to go by, it will focus on real people with genuine passion. A great story in real life.

Enjoy wherever you can stream. BackToBackToBack

WHAT DID YOU DO YESTERDAY?

Genius!

Max Rushen and David O’Doherty don’t take this too seriously. It’s a delightful and mundane concept that involves talking to a celebrity about their previous day. It’s genuinely charming and has unexpected discoveries along the way. I love O-Doherty (and his tiny keyboard) and could listen much much more than the optimal 40 minutes podcast length time that this production gives us. I hope you enjoy. Check out Ellis James’s chat first maybe.
